Ever feel like you have lost your marbles? Me too, sometimes.
(In case you still have some of your marbles intact, you might enjoy this print’s companion image, Losing My Marbles, where fewer marbles have made a successful getaway.)
I wanted Lost My Marbles to have a bright look, one that would showcase the lovely glass colours best. The solution? Lots of white - white background, white truck, and white foundation - to provide reflections of the shiny glass. There is not one bit of pure white paint used in this image, though. Instead, I mixed my white paint with colours to match the reflections the glass had on the surfaces.
