I am starch-ly opposed to working out without first having an appropriate snack - so I refuse to glaze over the importance of eating my carbs.
In Exercise Plan, a German chocolate cupcake and two iced donuts have been gathered, ready to do their part in my overall fitness goals. (Such as fitness whole donut into my mouth.)
Chalkboard backgrounds are one of my favorite ways to add dialogue into the still life setting. To get the faint chalky residue, painted the surface, drew on it with oil pastels, and then partially wiped of the words, erasure-style.
The sticky note and blue painter’s tape adds a bit of trompe l'oeil, a visual illusion where a painted subject looks real, making it appear that there is really a note and a piece of tape stuck to the canvas. (There aren’t.)

Canvas giclées: Edition of 50 (for all sizes), signed and numbered on the back of the piece. Archivally mounted or stretched and hand-coated with protectant. Framed canvas giclées are hand-framed in our studio with an espresso-colored frame with gold-tone lip. Unframed canvas giclées should not be framed with glass.
Paper giclées: Edition of 250 for 12” x 16” sizes; edition of 125 for 18” x 24”. Printed on high-quality, acid-free paper and comes with a hand-cut mat that fits into a standard-size frame. We recommend that you use a frame with glass to ensure longevity of your paper print.
