In the Contiguous U.S.
Every year our neighbor brings over bags full of lemons from his lemon tree. We display them in a beautiful cut glass crystal vase until we can use them in recipes. But, they also look great in an old toy truck!
In this painting I used a limited palette, restricting myself to 4 tubes of paint, red, yellow, blue and black. Using a limited palette is an exercise in creating harmony forcing me to concentrate on relative values and colors.
This truck is one of the oldest in my collection, and dates from 1926.
